Living in Faith

Faith is technically seeing nothing but at the same time seeing something.

It is the thin line that separates the moment now and the hope of tomorrow, so then, faith is a mix of hope and the disregard of the present.

Why faith today?

I saw a post a while back on a person’s resolve to end their life because of a setback, a couple of comments were focused on how irrelevant the problem was than the emotional state the suicidal person was currently in.

This brings me closer to my point that all of life exists on faith/hope, whatever you call it.

That incident got me thinking about what makes a person desire death more than anything, and I also wondered, what makes majority of humans believe in the preservation of life more than anything.

Theres definitely some reason as to why emotions gets the best of some which affects their judgement to make right choices but it’s fascinating how we all live on the thin line of hope without even knowing it.

The moment something ticks, breaking us, it takes emotional courage to still rest on hope.

Suicide is definitely not the solution and that is why it is important to gain control of the mind, because it is fickle and desires to be ruled. If we are unable to control it, someone/something will.

Each individual is like a playground battle between ‘self' and 'intrusive beings’. To be honest, even if one man lived alone on an island, there is still a case of self and the alter-self in a battle for control. Which is why it cannot be overemphasized how important it is to have control of what goes through and out of your thoughts. They shape our choices as much as our actions do too.

We all live that life of faith, whether you are a believer or not, you have hope in you. It may be little or a great resolve, but as long as you are choosing life, you are walking in hope, and you shouldn’t stop there…keep stretching your faith and seeking greater things as we become what we believe.
